What is the Pelvic Floor Strengthening Chair?
The chair uses electromagnetic technology to stimulate contractions in the pelvic floor muscles while you are seated. Treatment takes place with your clothes on, without the need to undress.
It is a service you can discuss with our team if you are looking for support with pelvic floor strengthening. Treatment is not suitable for everyone, so an individual assessment is required before starting.

Your appointment, step by step
Before treatment
Our team will assess whether the treatment is suitable for you. Please tell us about any relevant medical conditions, implanted devices or other concerns, including any of the contraindications listed below.
This is also your opportunity to explain what you are hoping to address and ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.
During your session
You will sit on the chair and remain fully clothed throughout treatment. Each session takes around 28 minutes, giving you time to sit back and relax.
Planning your appointments
We offer single sessions and courses of 6 or 16 sessions. Our team can discuss these options and appointment availability with you. When arranging your first visit, please ask how much time to allow for both the suitability assessment and treatment.
Prices and treatment courses
The following options are available, subject to your suitability assessment. All course prices shown are the total price for the number of sessions listed.
Single session — £119
One Pelvic Floor Strengthening Chair treatment session, lasting around 28 minutes.
Course of 6 sessions — £595
A course covering six treatment sessions. Please speak to our team about arranging your appointments.
Course of 16 sessions — £1,359
A course covering sixteen treatment sessions. Our team can explain the course option and discuss availability.
All prices include VAT where applicable.

Suitability comes first
The Pelvic Floor Strengthening Chair is not suitable for everyone. All patients are assessed before starting treatment, even if they are booking a single session.
Contraindications include:
- Pregnancy.
- A pacemaker, defibrillator or neurostimulator.
- Pelvic or spinal metal implants.
- A copper IUD.
- Certain pelvic mesh.
If any of these apply to you, please tell our team before booking treatment. If you are unsure about an implant, device or previous procedure, raise this with us during your enquiry.
